No strings attached

*ing : natalie portman, ashton kutcher
Director : Ivan Reitman

Tagline : Friendship has its benefits.

A commitment phobic girl (without any apparent reason) has a strictly physical relationship with his friend. eventually inevitable happens, both fall in love and after few hiccups, are together. film works on certain level due to charm of its lead actors and some genuinely funny moments. bt thats it.

Limitless

*ing : Bradely Cooper, Abbie Cornish, Robert Deniro
Director : Neil Burger

Tagline : what if a pill could make you rich and powerful ??

a regular thriller abt an unsuccessful writer who cant start writing a book for years. by chance of destiny he happens to get a pill which allows him to access 100% of his mind. the writer gets addicted to the drug and earns lot of money using this. also gets few enemies in between. the catch is that the drug has some really dangerous side effects. the story follows on how the writer gets rid of the drug (or gets rid of it at all ) and how he eliminates (or becomes stronger and more powerful ) than his enemies. not much to recommend abt . just to say.. why in world a super duper talented legend like robert diniro wasting himself in a looser role like this.

Zingagi Naa Milege Dobara

*ing : Hrithik Roshan, Farhan Akhtar, Abhay Deol, Katrina Kaif, Kalki
Director : Zoya Akhtar

Tagline : 3 young men take a holiday which changes their life forever.

i have to admit here that i am a lil biased here towards akhtar family. i love everything done by farhan akhtar, all his directed movies or the one in which he has acted in, i have liked it. and more so, Luck by chance happens to be one of my most fav film. So i was in this movie knowing that i am gonna like it. and i did. its not as great as luck by chance bt it has some really magical moments. specially the underwater scenes, sky diving shots and bull race. the film become little slow and boring towards the end , nevertheless its good film. farhan akhtar shines throughout the film. hrithik looks amazing and abhay plays his part well. film has some amazing cinematography and once you see the film, you would definitely like to visit the country once.

Henry's Crime

*ing : Keanu Reeves, Vera Farmiga, James Caan
Director : Malcom VanVille

Tagline : The real crime is not committing to your dreams.

Its a boring annoying film about a person who's sent to jail in a fake bank robbery case. now the man wants to rob the same bank to take a revenge. this is just plain story with not much twist and not much thrill. even the romance between reeves and lovely vera fermiga is cold. dint like at all.

Murder 2

*ing : Emraan Hashmi, Prashant Narayanan, Jaqluine Fernandees
Director : Mohit Suri

Tagline :

The bhatts have one simple formula for their films. Pick up DVD of some hit Hollywood film. Mix sex with violence and add some really good music. and critics may not like it much bt they get their investment returned. Usually every film stars emraan hashmi and he's become pretty good playing similar kinda role now. Murder2 is not remotely connected to the original film. So the original Murder was at times frame to frame copy of unfaithful, Murder 2 is also, at times, frame to frame copy of Korean cult film The Chaser. prashant narayan as a psychopath killer was good and rest were ok. jaqline was there just to have sex and feature in couple of songs.

Black Swan

*ing : Natalie Portman, Mila Kunis, Vincent Cassel
Director : Darren Arnofosky

Tagline :

I have never been fan of Darren Arnofosky. I have always believed he is quite over-rated. Hated his film requim for a dream and thought "the wrestler" mediocre boring film. Have been consciously tried to avoid watching Black Swan for long time now. Finally saw it other day and found it very good. There is something creepy and mysterious in every scene which keeps you on edge-of-seat. The performances are outstanding. Natalie Portman is just brilliant and she deservedly won the oscar for best performance. Not much hatred for the director now.

Charlie Wilson's War

*ing : Tom Hanks, Julia Roberts, Phillip Seymour Hoffman
Director : Mike Nichols

Tagline : Based on outrageous true story.

iv always been interested in afghanistan story. been always wanted to know why russia invaded, what was USA's role and how come Afghanistan turned up against USA. this film does solve few of the question. what i learnt is america helped afghanistan big time getting rid of russians. also, they cudnt end the war well and thats how those ppl turned up against USA. its a true story so makes it even more compelling to watch. and when u hv star cast like this film, the acting cant be less than top notch.

Source Code

*ing : Jake Gyllenhaal, Vera Farmiga, Michelle Monghan
Director : Duncan Jones

Tagline : Make every second count

an action thriller about a man who wakes in an unknown location in a body of an unknown man and discovers that he' part mission to defuse a bomb which will kill everyone on a train. Its an interesting bt confusing plot where lot of science jargon is used and even till end you keep wondering what and how things were done. though the good part were those 8 minutes which jake has before he finds the killer. not very good. just good.

Delhi Belly

*ing : Imran Khan, Vir Das, Kunaal Roy Kapoor
Director : Abhinay Deo

Tagline : Shit Happens

its one of the most hilarious film i hv seen in recent times. 3 boys sharing a flat in delhi encounters bizzare situation and even bizarre characters amidts one of them suffering frm serious case of running belly. and then you have all those potty humor, crude language and some genuinely funny situation. you are ready for a ride.
here i need to mention that i am a huge admirer and fan of shah rukh khan bt atleast one thing he lags behind amir khan is later is a very smart producer. his choice of films are impeccable whereas shah rukh still produces always crappy crappy type films.
