Tagline : A love story in reverse.

The series is growing on me and how. Each season is getting better and funnier. I hv started to like characters I orginally wasn’t much fond of, like Barney Stinson. He is legend……ary ! 
First few seasons gave hangover of friends bt it has found its certain identity on the way now. !

Sherlock (Season 3)

*ing : Benedict Cumberbatch, Martin Freeman
Creators : Mark Gatiss, Steven Moffat

Tagline :Closer than you think

Finally a new season is here, and finally we get to know how Sherlock faked his death. And what an episode this one was. Truly brilliant. Sherlock is one of my most fav tv series and this season was one of the best. The worst part is again they hv ended on a very very shocking twist, really cant wait to see wat will happen next season.

House of Cards (Season 1)

*ing : Kevin Spacey, Michael Gill, Robin Wright,Michael Kelly, Kate Mara
Created by : Beau Willimon

Tagline :

Oh, Kevin Spacey. You have found a proper home for your villainous side.

House of Cards is about a manipulative, extremely ambitious couple, living in a world of political corruption. They will stop at nothing to get what they want.

After watching the first couple of episodes, you start to wonder just how far Frank Underwood (Kevin Spacey) will go. As the show progresses, the "problems" that Frank has to solve get more and more complicated, and as a result, his solutions become more elaborate and sometimes, very dark. The way in which this escalates makes his actions stick to your gut in different ways. It's like a full course meal. That being said, Frank isn't the only one who will do what it takes to achieve goals. His wife, Claire (Robin Wright), may not do as much "field work", but she has proved to be just as conniving and manipulative. She is more than anything else, Frank's safe place. Whenever he becomes unsure of something, she is always there to ground him. They're like two evil peas in a corrupted pod.

You may be wondering "How can I root for such evil characters?". Well, you don't have to love them to enjoy them. Pretty much every other character in the show is a cutthroat narcissist. These people's actions and personalities are used as stepping stones for the Underwoods. Frank takes a ruthless, sleazy politician who has a need to succeed, and uses that behavior to his advantage. Nobody is innocent in this show, even though the Underwoods are the cream of the crop.

This is a show about details. Every moment, every move, leads to a solution or problem. If you're one of those folks who finds long dialog scenes boring, this one may not be for you. Like Breaking Bad and other progressive dramas, it's an investment of your time. If you pay attention, and allow yourself to get sucked in to this world, you'll be rewarded for it. Nothing happens quick. This is a formula that allows you to get attached to the characters, which in turn, effects you deeply when something happens to them.

I recommend this one for sure. With an actor like Kevin Spacey as the main, who is well known for playing some of the best villains to date, you honestly can't go wrong.

Homeland (Season 3)

*ing : Claire Danes, Damian Lewis, Morena Baccarin
Creator : *Many*

Tagline : Pledge Allegiance

Oh expectations, what things you do ?
Now homeland first 2 seasons were very good. Very very good I might say. It was taut, sharp, edgy, fast paced and enuff drama to keep us emotionally invested as well.
But I think in Season 3, makers were just bogged down by expectations and hype and tried too many things. And result is it’s the weakest season yet.
The first 3-4 episodes were torturously boring. There was a twist and then the whole season developed but it was just not as much fun as it was first 2 seasons
The way season 2 ended, I was hoping a cracker of a season but it all turned out so convenient and formulistic, its hard to believe its same series.
One of the major development happened this series is that one of the key character ‘Nicholoas Brody’ the one who centered the plot for first 2 season died. (or it seems so) .. I wonder how they wud develop the series further.

I wanted a comedy show of 20-25 mins run time to get me thru morning breakfast. Entourage was my perfect companion for that. Bt since its over, I cudnt find any other show to fill its large shoes. I generally avoid shows which has too many seasons of it.(How I met your mother currently is in 9th season. Incidentally also its last.)
How I met your mother (HIMYM) is fun show. Good time pass. Kind what I wanted. The basic premise is quite close to Friends (unfortunately every show with group of friends together will always be compared to FRIENDS) but HIMYM has more similarity. Bunch of friends staying in New York city and facing the issues of living alone. Job, love, sex, insecurities and how friends are important as a part of life.
There basically 5 characters , Ted, Marshal, Lily, Barney and last but not least, very lovely Robin played by Cobie Smulders who I hv to say i hv developed rather big crush on.
Its year 2030 and Ted is telling story to his kids as how he met their mother. This premise is inspired by a movie Defintely, Maybe which was also fun.
So ya, we also cruise along the journey of Ted Mosby and see how he finds his wife. At the end of season, Ted and Robin are couple. And they seem destined for it. Almost like Ross and Rachel from Friends. It will be sad if he marries anyone else.
Lets see how his life goes from here.

Breaking Bad is one of the greatest TV series in terms of Drama Thriller Suspense but if its only about fun, I have loved Entourage. If not more. More thoughts on it after final season

Entourage season 8
I don’t know what to do my with my life. i loved it fucking so much

My favorite tv show after friends. What i like best about both of them is that they are about life with friends. Can watch it over n over again.

only complaint, they had too few episodes per season. Wish they had more n more episodes in each season. just did not wanted it to get over.

Each and every character is soo special in his own way. Vince, Drama, Eric , Turtle and even Ari. Great great show. Now i hope they do justice to the movie.

Breaking Bad (Season 5)

*ing : Bryan Cranston, Anna Gunn, Aaron Paul, Dean Norris , Betsy Brandt
Creator : Vince Gilligan

Tagline:All bad things must come to an end

Never have i seen anything like that. till season 4, it was going smooth. it was consistently very good and I was enjoying the series.
yet, couldn’t understand the fuss about it being soo popular. But season 5 is when it elevates to a completely different level.
Each and every episode is a explosive. Had a marathon run of watching it and finished season 5 in almost in 24 hours. When Walter White admits and says" "I did it for me. I liked it. I was good at it. And I was really ... I was alive." that’s when it hit you how great the series was. Unlike whining poor junkie Jesse who just rode along. Either he liked the money or kept crying abt it. But it was White who was the real King. One of the saddest moment of the show was when Hank got killed. Even though he was after life of White, he was a great cop. and the scene was also brilliantly filmed.
The series had some outstanding scenes like first when White goes to Tuco, his meeting with Gus, Bomb Explosion in Hospital which kills Gus, Confrontation between Hank and White in his garage.
bt the best for me was when White first time says, "Say my Name" to a dealer. What a moment. Fucking what a moment.
the bar has been raised soo high by the creators, i think it will take a while before someone even thinks of achieving what Breaking Bad did.

Tagline : Unstable. Volatile. Dangerous. And That's Just The Chemistry

OMG.. it continues to grow and how. There are some fabulous scenes and there is a growing tension. I think that’s the epicness of the series. You always feel something is just round the corner. Something big is going to happen. And yet it keeps the tension just aside and story keeps on growing. I think I will be able to express my complete awe only after I finish the series.
The rating remains same though.

Frantically watching the season and its riveting as it keeps on going. Must say its highly addictive too. Just like the Meth cooked by Walter White with his aide Jesse Pinkman. They both have a tumulus relationship. Sometimes working great together or just fighting each other out. Jesse is a junkie and has major mood swings. Whereas Walter White is a calculated cook bt extremely observing cook. They both together takes up the cooking and supply channel of the district. Well, hv to say its much better than explained. Watch it. I am not going to stop till I finish the series soon

Tagline :In the no-holds-barred world of Walt White, the end justifies the extreme.

Never have been a TV series I hv heard more about. Breaking Bad ended officially in September and all I could hear was Breaking Bad just everywhere. Damn everywhere. And it did get me hooked. Started watching and its not bad. Its actually very good. Its about a very nice simple bt genius chemistry teacher who is diagnosed with cancer. He wants to save enough money for his family before he is dead. And then he ends up cooking meth, highly addictive drug in US market. And since he is a chemistry genius, the product he makes is the purest in the market. Ofcourse life of drug is not that simple and there are many twists n turns in his life. And how he is dealing with it all.

Watching it in super speed, and loving it even more than previous seasons. If you have any interest in movies, Hollywood in particular, you just cant miss this show. ! You will learn how stars live, behave and enjoy their life. What are the insecurities, how are they approached for movies and how they negotiate with their agents. It’s a fun series. Too much fun I must add.

Lost (Season 6)

*ing : Matthew Fox, Jorge Garcia, Evangeline Lilly, Evangeline Lilly, Naveen Andrews, Josh Holloway, Terry O'Quinn
Created by :J.J. Abrams, Jeffrey Lieber, Damon Lindelof

Tagline : On this island, survival is not a game.

The finale to "Lost" failed on many levels, and not just because it did not answer questions. It was poor writing that was an emotionally manipulative, contrived, and done-before piece. I got it. I saw the different alternatives integrated into the characters' memories. I saw the after-life reunion that would bind them all together in eternity. But, the finale served to diminish the integrity of the entire series because SO MANY small questions were left unresolved.

I think the writers created mysteries and twists as they went along with no clearly defined answers or resolutions in their own heads when they created those mysteries. That is just plain lazy and sloppy writing. The "Lost" writers ended the series with some absurd and puerile after-life reunion, rendering all the possibilities regarding what was "real" a total unexplained mess.

So... whether they all died in the plane crash, or whether the island experience really happened, or whether they all lived out their lives in an alternate universe where the plane never crashed, or whether all possibilities happened in some Quantum physics world and all the options were integrated into their memories.... nothing was explained in terms of the events WE WATCHED for years on the island.

The whole ending was a major cop out because the writers kept building mystery after mystery, twist after twist, cliffhanger after cliffhanger, and they never tied anything up with clear explanations in the finale. The ending was terrible. They went for the manipulative tearjerker.
Overall, I was quite disappointed with the show and specially the finale part. Yet, I wud admire the storytelling in the series. How they built, characters , the back story, future story, conflicts, issues and everything. Such a shame it had to end like this.
