*ing : Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone
Director : Sanjay Leela Bhansali
Tagline : Goliyon ki RasLeela, Ram-Leela
Ram-Leela is a movie which I loved and hated equal in parts.
The easiest criticism for the film would be that there is too much style and grandeur which takes away from the story.
Unfortunately that’s what is true.
Some scenes hv immense passion and grabs ur attention bt most of the film is thwarted by decoration of frame.
it strongly feels that the props are becoming main character ! bhansali shud make subtle film.
it probably can work bt i dont think man knows anything else bt to make everything big. ranveer was good in some portions bt poor in many. deepika was revelation. sat thru the film only for her. the chemistry between both was dazzling. couple has to be in love to play the part the way they did.
Overall, Disappointed.
Rating :
** & ½
